Listen to what he said again, he acknowledged that there was black on black violence, but that there is often a difference between the incidents of violence that occur among black youths vs. white youths. Again, his point is that we should not look at youth violence as just an issue concerning black and latino youths. We need to be investigating what triggers violence among all young people, regardless of their race.

Every fiber of Van Jones being exists for one purpose only: to make a case that the American Way, the Free Market, Freedom and Capitalism are evil. Here, he is creating a new Mythology: that the middle class life of suburban kids is oppressive. His goal: to lay the ground work for destroying our free society.

You're misunderstanding what Van Jones is saying by calling his statements 'racist'. In truth, he's showing sympathy to suburban white youth and saying that we as a society need to start paying more attention to what's triggering ALL young people to commit violent acts, and not assume that youth violence is just a black and latino issue. His basic point is representative of the truth.

my 14 year old lost his mother 2 months ago & all the school cared about was 2 weeks was to long to keep him out now hes staying back!! hes angry as hell the teachers dont care about his mother just about his grades & being punished by me
