@skidiva1913 You think?

@ThatsMrMoronToYou What an apt log in name you have. The conductor is a man Mr. Moron.
-
... I'm pretty sure the conductor is a guy... just look at 4:30- he doesn't have even a SEMBLANCE of a "chest" lol

her mouth is so large. i love it.

The conductor looks like a guy. A touch of make-up wouldn't have hurt her cause.

@pagerbear this is Gershwin, who's an opera composer, this is the style he intended, opera style

I disagree. She got the tempo right for her voice. Lots of rubato and conversational style of delivery, just like Ira wrote his lyrics. Just a magical rendition. That said, though, the Gershwin tunes were written for Broadway and the movies, and operatic voices don't always convey that "we're just people" quality which, after all, both Broadway and the moves are all about.

Nice rack.
Oh my goodness, that final note at 6:48 is just magical, amazing. Susan Graham has a special, creamy, and sort of America's-little-girl quality. That mezzo-soprano voice's beauty tracends both opera and broadway.
