i do not remember those scenes being deleted from the DVD that i watched? i confess i do not remember them being sideways or upside down either?

With these added scenes, it makes more sense why Kirk said "I gotta study". Seems he did more that night than just (literally) screw around. :)

The omission of this tiny scene ruins a lot of the Kirk story, for me. If they included this, I would not have had as much of a prob with it. It makes more sense that he slipped a computer virus into a love letter to a woman who worked in the background of the KM than that he just bugged the thing, generally.

I hate this...in the 60's they illuded to the "kobioshi maru"...in the 80's they explained that kirk added to the program, he added himself as a captian the klingons feared and respected so they did not engage. In the 2000's they changed it to ' he hit a power up and beat 'em '

@Mikanojo The scene was edited so that the green chick isn't the one who launches the virus that disabled the simulator because if Kirk used her like that he would have been a giant rectum.
