@10Jesse14 Same with me i remember my dad bought me my first video game console at the age of 5 and it was the SNES and it came with this game and two controllers as a bundle so technically this was the very first video game i ever owned and SSF2 and MK 1 and 2 came along with those later but man those was good times man i miss the 90's so much.

I always played zelda on snes in the 90,s

You know one time Adult Swim had a commercial about zelda on the GBA, and I was listening to the background music, and it was this song. Each person playing the gameboy had this background song.
So every person in the commercial was only on the first stage XD

I tell you. I remember buying this game at Target in 1992 a week after it came out. I didn't want it, but my friend said to get it because of the series past history. Zelda I was good but blah by the time SNES came around, and Zelda II was impossible to beat. I didnt know what else to get so I got it and was hooked. Spent all summer playing this game. Amazing. BS Zelda - Ancient Stone Tablets is the real sequal to this game.

I knew how to read well, but because I didn't own it for my NES back then & there was only limited text/direction in the original game, I thought that it was "a game where you walk around killing random[ly spawning] enemies" when I'd get to play a few mins at some stranger's house. The very idea that you couldn't play/progress in only one sitting didn't resonate w/me. I just didn't understand it. I then got a Game Boy w/"Zelda Link's Awakening," finished it, and moved on to "A Link to the Past."
