  • Is the relation to degrees turned to movement direct? Like, when you turn the side pin 3 degrees, does the table move 3 units?

  • No, if you drive the table troug the pin. it would be a polar cartesian problem.

    But the point here is to remove the need for precision rods and replace with all-printable parts. I imagine you could drive the table dircet by a belt or a rack and pinion type deal.

  • Should have bought yourself a Rapman. Mine has been pretty much trouble free and it has a much bigger build space. :-)

  • prolly but ill get a mendel when the kit is ready. but i have to give that a cupcake is way easy to assemble. My trouble was with the mobo.
