To read a book and to "study" select parts are two different things. If you want to study it, at least give it one read, beginning to end, without bias. How could you know what moby dick is about, unless you read it from the beginning to the end? Select passages could make you believe it is about Ishmaels love of a wonderful whale. Think about it.
If you would notice I said a little of why and not completely. There are many reasons why people don't believe and I am open to listening to anyone's reason. I was merely stating that the movie Flatland does show one of the reasons but is not exclusive in the plethora of reasons why someone does not believe in God.
