'Burden' betekent overigens 'last', wat gezien de aard van het werk en het gewicht van zo'n balk wel toepasselijk is.

Fijn, toch, librarianbe: ik heb die uitzending ook beluisterd op Radio! Het is een goede intro op de 'installatie' van Burden. Ik denk niet dat ze op de Radio 1-site nog te herbeluisteren is? In elk geval, dankzij u hier wel.

The American artist Chris Burden created a large and remarkable work of art in the Middelheim Park in Antwerp. During an entire day he dropped steel beams from a high altitude into a layer of concrete. The show attracted many people.
