Iron Man 3 (2013) Official Trailer

The plan is for Iron Man 3 to be more of a standalone film, but I wonder if that's possible. If the movie, which is being written and directed by Shane Black, touches on what happens with The Avengers, then how do you deal with the fact that it's a world where Iron Man doesn't have to fix his particular problems by himself any more? Jon Favreau, who directed the first two films, has already raised this point, and I'm not quite sure how Black and his team will address it.
