I can't help but want to chase a train with my favorite locomotive on it! Even though it wasn't leading, it's always a treat to see a bandit MP15AC. :D Here, CP 283 heads west past the Grant Blvd. crossing in Wabasha, MN (MP 342.07 on the River sub).

  • No, they didn't use that paint much. Where I lived, they used former U.P. power much. I noticed you just subscribed to my videoes. Before you watch them, I must apologize in advance, as I do rag chew U.P. pretty good in the videoes. As you can see, they're not a very professional railroad like C.P. But lately they've been setting up their trains just like the Big Red Machine (CP)!

  • Haha, no problem. Everyone has their opinions. :) And too late, I already watched some.

  • By the way, where did you get the pic of the ATSF warbonnet for your profile? That's cool!

  • I took it. :) Grabbed a timed exposure shot of it when it was sitting in the BNSF yard in La Crosse, WI. I can show you the full version of it if you'd like.

  • Nice! Love that AC44 in the lead! Did you hear the BNSF horn on it? You know, I'd have to say your videoes are my favorite among the train videoes. They remind me of when I used to live in the Puget Sound, near the BN Scenic and Seattle Subs. I used to see CP trains like that all the time. Boy they were awesome. Now all we get is U.P. where I live, unfortunately. By the way, my favorite unit of all is CP 5742, a former U.P. SD40-2 painted into the Expressway scheme.

  • Thanks for the kind words!

I looked up CP 5742 to see what scheme you were talking about...wow! That is so cool! I'm guessing they didn't use that scheme much?

  • that thing was moving nice video

  • nice horn and power variety.

  • And I don't mind if you do show me the whole video of that Santa Fe warbonnet.

  • Right on! That ATSF warbonnet just looks red hot! You know w

what I say. If CP and SP are the Indian Motorcycles of the railroad world, then BNSF is comparable to Harley Davidson. That's easy to see, look at the warbonnet in your picture with all of the chrome and stuff! Anyways, if you don't mind, I sent you a video response with a nice looking U.P. freight at sunset, and... I do apologize for my other videoes.
