Why are you basically ripping on the Kindle Fire? It is all just you, I think that it is going very decent fast when you are uploading to the web, faster than my Ipad. Even faster going to the book store for Amazon, than the app store from apple. Also with the headphone thing, maybe you should have that checked out. That's not usual. Just a suggestion.
