Tree Wave

So I went to Signal Operators, an audio-visual intermedia art microfestival. This is Tree Wave. They rocked me so hard.

Tree Wave's performance will combine electronic pop generated by retro-computers such as the Commodore 64 with imagery reflective of the Atari age of video games. A Dallas based band, Tree Wave makes shoegazy pop music and video using obsolete computer and videogame gear from the 1970's and '80's, accompanied by female vocals. They perform regularly at festivals and new media venues throughout the US and Europe. Tree Wave's latest CD, Cabana EP+, released last year, has received a flood of positive reviews. www.treewave.com
