Sophocles tragic tale surrounding one family cursed by fate is revisited present day. From the moment they were born, the Christou children have been met with the challenge of defying the family stigma. Isabel, in her first year of high school just wants to be accepted by the popular crowd; and Ethan the eldest of the Christou brothers is coasting through his senior year seemingly unaffected by scrutiny of the world around him. He and his younger brother Paul, both key players on their schools basketball team, are headed to Italy to honor their team and prove that the tragic flaws of the Christou family will end with them. However, just before the team is set to leave, Ethan learns that Paul is the bearer of another family secret. As the house of Christou begins to crumble for the final time; Antigone, the eldest, entrusted with raising her siblings and salvaging the family name, fights for her brothers honor against all odds.
