@Justeatmytoast Alice In Chains is more metal than the other bands. And no, I don't mean Rolling Stone or Billboard, because if you check those top i don't know what, you're not gonna find AIC in there, and that's just wrong. I mean, if someone could make objectively a top 5 of the best rock bands ever, AIC definitely deserve to be in it. I like the bands you said too, but compared to AIC they're just some bands, to me. See? it's a matter of taste.

@ba773r1na Sorry man, but AiC isn't grunge, totally like Pearl Jam, Blind Melon, late NIrvana and late Soundgarden. Study about grunge scene more. What top 5 list? Do you mean all this crappy magazines like Rolling Stone or Billboard? C' mon! And I think AiC sucks, but that's my own opinion.

If we have to compare, here it goes: Alice In Chains is better than what Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Blind Melon, Mudhoney and Mother Love Bone are together. Because Alice In Chains is not the just greatest Grunge band, it's in the top 5 of the greatest bands of all time.

All the above is only my opinion, of course, with all the respect and the love for the other bands.
