@thegreenerthemeaner The 5 speed is shit when it is paired with the Cummings. You must have been getting it rebuilt by idiots lol. Now to the engine; they put those in semis so I think they can handle alittle truck. llol

@GmTruckCarLove the first one lasted 97k, the second slightly longer, the 3rd one week, (Chrysler's fault) the fourth 8k. Chrysler may have a better Auto trans now. You tell me what happened to the whole truck, it is a little unusual that it has had all the problems but it averages 750 to a thousand every 2-3 weeks in some sort of repair. It is a 2WD and is used 5 days a week. The 96 has had a shut off solenoid and 1 trans and ball joints period. The 12 valve is a better truck.

@thegreenerthemeaner I think your over blowing the tranny one. The Cummings is a much better engine than Duramax and Powershit.
