awwwww he looks like he wants some more! What a good pup! I can understand the cone, but why is he gated outside? Fingers crossed he starts gaining weight!

He really is adorable and I really hate people who do this to helpless animals. I really wish that whoever did this to him will experience the same pain, confusion, and hurt that they inflicted on poor Rilind. Only then might they begin to get the idea of how wrong this type of behavior is and make a complete 180 degree turn around. That is, if this was done out of ignorance and not cruelty. For the latter, I feel there is no redeeming them.

I am familiar with Rilind's story, I 'liked' him on facebook and that is how I saw the video, but my question was why he was wearing the cone. That was the first I had seen of it. Was he recently neutered??

@TheMajmeister Rilind is a dog who was starved and abused who was dumped nearly three weeks ago - he was hours or even minutes from death when he was discovered - injured and severely emaciated. A rescue called Pit Sisters is nursing him back to health and literally saving his life. You should check out their FB page! There is also a page on Rilind called "Rilind Reborn." It's a miracle unfolding before our eyes!

Rilind has sores all over his body from before he was rescued. The cone keeps him from licking. It I in several of his photos.
