@txrego i always start with a cut a nice portion of the hair and ask is the short enough if they say yea then i continue if they say no then i gradually will go down
untill i get formiliar with the client and there wants

How do you determine what size to use with the grain. Is it always a half size smaller than what you use against the grain? Is it possible to get an even hair cut with only an andis improved masters?

@txrego Most dark caesars are 1.5 or 2 against the grain depending on what the customer wants. The Andis can only give you a light caesar. #1 against the grain, which might be too light for most. You need to know what the client wants first.
