Bored on the 4th of July

On July 4, 2009, I was playing with some Legos my girlfriend brought to me when I heard that Steve McNair was dead. A few minutes after that, Jonas Stein called me to ask if I had any plans for the holiday.

He had wanted to do what you'll see in the video for some time and, because it was interesting (unlike most of the stuff people ask me to shoot), I was happy to do it.

Zack Wilson edited, and he had shot the American flag footage a few years ago for something I wanted to do with Silver Jew (but never did).

This may be too much detail, but then here you are reading it anyway.
