A group of American national security whistleblowers, civil liberty campaigners, anti-war groups, national whistleblower organizations and others are set to release a petition tomorrow asking a group of NGOs to take back the "transparency award" they bestowed on President Obama last March for his supposed attempt to fight against government secrecy.

  • When the White House which is controlled by Zionist interests can no longer stifle dissent through propaganda and intimidation the fascist will resort to targeted assassinations of whistle blowers. If that fails to stifle dissent then you will see mass arrests. Within the next few years you will absolutely see the Supreme Court change the legal meaning of our Bill of Rights and Constitution. The only thing standing between us and tyranny is the Constitution therefore it must be destroyed.

  • @phoenix11994466 A) I agree to an extent; I think the compromise and bipartisanship is horrible to tell you the truth. First of all it shows that most politicians aren't very principled and can flip like coins. Say if both parties have equally horrible ideas from opposite sides of the political spectrum and go on to compromise. That leaves us with a horrible solution. I do see what you described happening with a few politicians that I have admired with regards to some issues

  • @phoenix11994466 B) mainly foreign policy such as Mike Gravel and Cynthia Mckinney. That being said I have only briefly looked at these politicians with regard to foreign policy so I can't say much about them besides that. Others though have continued a principled fight whether you support their views or not. One of them being Ron Paul. Many of his opponents criticize him for not having passed a great deal of legislation and branding him as Dr. No. I see this as a good thing.

  • @phoenix11994466 C) Whether you support all of his policies or not at least you know what you are getting. And he is one example that has stuck around for the long haul even through this frustration and constant fighting with the system/game. There are a few still around and those are the ones that we must support or at least acknowledge. In turn we should openly expose the others that don't have any sense of principle and continuously defy the Constitution.

  • @smnaotrt Sure I was generalizing, but those idealistic individuals who entered politics for the right reasons soon find the game is not what they naively though it was. So eventually they get disillusioned and leave politics forever, while those who learn to bend with the wind and bend the rules a little get things done. I see this as the thin edge of the wedge, by this stage the line between compromise and corruption becomes very blurred. Call my a cynic, but I see it every where

  • @phoenix11994466 No I somewhat agree. There are bad apples, psychopaths, etc. in politics but as you made clear there are exceptions. It also doesn't help that the population over the years has just accepted these politicians as the norm. Once they realize this more and more of the like will begin to take over politics. Generalizations such as the above you make don't help. It is like me claiming all priests/pastors are pedophiles based on the bad apples in the bunch.

  • @smnaotrt You Agree then? politicians act in self interest as their always have... There is always the odd exception, but you rarely hear of them because the same doors that open to corruption are simply not open to them. Of course you may have a differing opinion... but that's only Your opinion; andas the great v 'opinions ain't worth a cup full of cold water'.

  • @phoenix11994466 That's why their is impeachment, nullification, voting, etc. Just look at what happened when the people provided public outcry regarding SOPA & PIPA. The politicians then went and flipped to the other side realizing the majority of the masses were against them. We the people are there to hold these officials in-check. You seem to disregard the politicians thinking that it's the norm for them to disregard oaths and instead just shift the blame to corporations.

  • @smnaotrt Are you serious? Do you honestly believe government officials are any different from people in the wider community? This age of greed touches all ...You're obviously an idealist who believe politicians are there to protect Your constitution, when in reality the your rights are being whittled away on a daily bases. You're simply living in a bubble, and have some illusion about the constitution which politicians give lip service to, but really serve the major corporations.

  • @phoenix11994466 The government's job is supposedly to protect our constitutional rights. Many officials in these governmental positions these oaths to protect the general public's rights. You seem to be advocating for government officials to be a bunch of liars. I would much rather have government officials protecting my rights and be what you call a snitch (when they are merely defending their oath) than have them be silent and let atrocities occur.
