@Innoroth Yeah, the frist time they had sex he had a flash back to wehn he was molested as a kid, in a fit of self loathing he started strangling Caska (whom was the child version of himself in his mind.) Then he snapped out of it, they had a quick heart to heart and finished up.

@GrimImpaler You are right! I was thinking of another section in the manga; however, I do remember his first sexual encounter with Caska being somewhat violent in the manga, too.

@toxicitzi anime was great. Too bad it ended during the bleakest moment. They also left some characters out like wyald, the count, ect.

@toxicitzi While I agree the manga is superior in general, I do think the anime excels in certain areas. It really brings things alive. And a few story changes, such as the consensual sex between Caska and Guts, are better.
