On the same note--there are misconceptions about proposed healthcare legislations. Many people have come out in support of HR 676, which would be a pretty nice bill if it weren't for the $12,000 annual healthcare limit.
It would go a long way towards proving Darwin's theory of evolution, though (survival of only those who spend less than $12,000/year on healthcare).
I'm worried about universal healthcare; if we had universal healthcare, people wouldn't die of easily treated conditions and our death rate might drop to Canada's death rate.
Perhaps not that good; I'd be happy with as good as Mexico. . .
