Cult Watch: Scientology Bookathon, Plymouth - Sat 19th April

This was the first of a new type of protest for the Plymouth protesters. We decided to do a 'cult watch' during Scientology's 'Book-a-thon' drive, where we would passively stand or walk near the cart, wearing 'CULT WATCH' signs. We wanted to prevent the illegal street-selling of Dianetics for that day.

It proved to be very effective, and we managed to inform many people about the dangerous cult, and while we were there, not a single copy of the book was sold.

Ralph was up to his usual tricks again. There is actually a 10 minute video of him speaking to a curious member of the public - but it needs subtitles. I will try to get around to doing this during the week.

There were 6-7 Scientologists and 6 protesters. It was quite an even match.
