Monster Movie Matinee open

This is the open to the show Monster Movie Matinee that aired in Syracuse NY between 1964 to 1980. The show was hosted by Dr. E. Nick Witty and Epal. Wind Up Films Productions is currently producing a documentary on the show and hopes to have it available at the end of this year. I told him about youtube and that I would see if his show was on here...and lo and behold! I used to watch this as a kid and he seems appreciative that I remember. This is awesome!!!! Watching this is like a trip in Baron Daemon's time machine. I grew up watching this show. It is a shinning example of the creativity that existed when TV stations did local broadcasting. Monster Movie Matinee is admired by current horror hosts nationwide.

So many regions had these shows! We missed ours in NYC, we were from all over the country (and elsewhere) so we had The Monster Movie Club at Club 57. It was every Tuesday night and not to be missed. I love the little sets on this! So dinky! So fun! Thank you. Greetings from France.
