Visiting with Christopher Saunders at his Greenpoint studio

When I first started booking artists for Escape From New York, no one stood out more than Greenpoint's own Chirstopher Saunders. His moody and atmospheric, horizon-based paintings appear to reference the unobtainable, where the road to nowhere meets the sky with an uncertain future. Blending elements of a post-industrial society with that of agrarian, Saunders' paintings could be anywhere along the timeline, but more likely than not foretell of a very ominous future, if we continue on the path we've been taking.
