Activities: Dance, Music, Meditation Walk, Earthball, Make Earth Ags, Kites & Peace Crafts, and Banners of Peace in over 150 languages for 190 countries

Schedule:
Monday, September 20th:
NOON! Installation: Drawing of the continents, hanging of wind socks, etc.
5:00 pm: Stage all banners
6:00 pm: Opening ceremony. A multi-cultural welcome where peace banners will be placed by people from around the globe
7:00 pm: The march of the sun begins, following the sun around the globe
8:30 pm: Calls to Afghanistan LIVE!
9:00 pm: Candlelight placements.
Tuesday, September 21st:
8:00 am: BIG CALL!
9-5:00 pm: Arts and Crafts.
Noon: BIG CALL!!
3 - 5:30 pm: Youth Crafts!
5:30 pm: Meditative Procession
6:30 pm: Circling the world with doves
7:00 pm: Closing Ceremony: Open Hearts, Open Minds, Singing Bowls, Banner

The International Day of Peace ("Peace Day") provides an opportunity for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts of peace on a shared date. It was established by a United Nations resolution in 1981 to coincide with the opening of the General Assembly.
