It seems to be a lecture and not a debate if i may comment ;)
I think it's important to bring in the old religious views when it comes to this just to prove how wrong the views are and that people need to move on and learn how to be better people without believing in lies.
'Faith' is a really dangerous behaviour because it makes us do things we don't want or need. But the faith itself makes us believe we need it. It mutates like a virus. Eventually you end up with something harmful.
Actually quantum thermodynamics is the most successfully tested theory in science, in terms of experimental verification of predicted results.
String theory, as yet, hasn't made a truly testable prediction, which is why a lot of physicists wash their hands of it. That doesn't mean that it won't, just that it hasn't.
Telepathy (and other 'psychic abilities'), however, has already been the subject of a great deal of experimentation, and has pretty much completely failed.
These kind of debates ceased to occur in European countries 50 years ago, because it isn't a debate!
Why should Krauss waste his time debating a relgious theologian when he's a scientist!? Scientists debate other scientists in order to make progress and share ideas.
The religious may debate the content and draw conclusions from these ancient ferrytale books all they want but leave the scientist out of it.
well yeah because they hadnt taken these "open-minded" steps, they wouldnt have gone very far in cosmology - string theory demanded a new approach other than the conventional one in order to understand how things work out there on a greater scle. i.e the repeatability youre talking about I assume is about experimant results right? well in quantum theory, when an experiment is performed many times, the results could be different each and every time. so there :)
@gavsmith1980 sorry, I said it as a suggestion. there is no talk of it as of yet. i would like to see it though, just so Craig can be exposed. many christians look at him with loving eyes because of his debating skills, I would love to see him get nailed.

christians do love craig though, often citing him as "the debator dawkins is too scared to debate."
