@afakasi1momo That's great. We are so happy to it. Send pictures of your's and your sister's styles so we can share them in our photos. Spread the wealth : )

I got a relaxer in my head. It was hard growing with a Mexican Mother who had straight hair so all I could do was make my hair straight. I had NO idea how to do my hair. But now that I have found this site I am starting to really love my curls. I wish I had this when I was still in High school. It shows me that I can do more than just straighten my hair to look beautiful. Its great and I do all the styles on my sister and I. We are now loving our curly hair. <3

This video was simply amazing...sort of reminds me of a video I did about embracing whatever degree of naturalness you have. We cannot all fit in the box! Some people have to be completely out some people have one leg in, etc. We do have a long way to go toward erasing that wooden leg known as internal racism. One day at a time one person at a time...time! Thanks for being so honest, so real, so giving of yourself in the vid. xoxo

This is so on point! When I hear someone say that they "can't" do natural because they don't have the "right" type of hair, I cringe. People are so misinformed. SMH. I do agree with you...I do way more styles with my natural hair than I ever did when I was relaxed.
