THIS is the only engine I am offering for the time being.
It can be downloaded from my site.
http://gcnmario.free.fr/
It is a little more stable, and uses a new movement engine that my old Mega Man Engine doesn't use. It should give you a start for your own game. ;)

This is why I haven't worked on my old MegaMan engine in a long while.
I am working on a new static platform engine with a few more features.
In other words, this is kind of like an experimental update of my old megaman engine, where extra programming is involved, and more options are explored.

I experiment with using floating point movement, & fast loops in Multimedia Fusion 2.
I make use of floating point movement for features such as walking on ice floors.
Using fast loops helps fix collision errors in walls, ceilings, and floors.
Conveyor belts also makes use of fast loops.

I also experiment with reverse gravity features, like in Mega Man 5 Gravity Man stage.

  • this could actually make a game, change rock's sprite to some custom character and make a game out of puzzles including gravity swap

  • Maybe you'll also need some platforms that slow you down too, like the snow in Dr Cossack's stage, it'd work well for Glue Man's stage too in Mega Man 10.

  • @brownridges - What would you call it? Professor Layton and the 2-D Controversy?

  • VVVVVVMan!

  • this looks like its gonna be awesome.

it works just like the megaman games.

  • I remember some old game like that for the GBC called Wendy or something...

  • Nice. Starting from scratch always makes a better project!

  • When will this be released?

  • Nice comment there StarsimsUniverse I hope that Mushroom Kingdom Fusion will be cool too. I was wondering that I was wishing. What I wish that Mushroom Kingdom Fusion would be the best game maker game ever made & what I esecially wish that it would be in a game release on a CD. That would be so cool for the team for making a great devlelopment on that game, because that is a great game! Oh tell JudgeSpear2 that I apologize for PM about the game, because I got it working by my flash drive.

  • Awesome, as usual! Also, my MegaMan custom sheet is finally finished. I'll send it to you in a PM. Still working on the ProtoMan and Bass ones.
