A slowdown in the U.S. economy is being felt in Latin America because many undocumented migrant workers in the U.S. now have less work -- and less money to send to their families back home. The AP's John Mone reports. (Oct. 7)

@HUITZILOPOCHTL Mexicans are getting paid like CEOs for manual labor in our country & American workers are losing any leverage to demand a living wage.It blows my mind we can’t figure out why Mexicans work as they do in America. A Mexican illegal making $10/hr in America is making 5 times what the average Mexican does in Mexico. Plenty illegals make a lot more than that. A few yes ago, experienced Mexican roofers earned $25/hr in the US. Average pay in Mexico is $15.00 per day.
