When tensions rise in the office, Jimmy brings in a therapist, Dr. Frank(John Ritter)to help cool things down. Dave gets uncomfortable because Dr. Frank is one of Lisa's ex-boyfriends, and her old college professor. Meanwhile, Matthew refuses to leave the office despite being sick and Bill decides to build himself a cubicle around his desk.

Mr. James: Dr. Frank, you are the original dream weaver!
"Dream Weaver" is the title of a 1976 hit by Gary Wright.

Jonathan Southworth "John" Ritter R.I.P. (September 17, 1948 -September 11, 2003)was an American actor and comedian perhaps best known for playing Jack Tripper in the sitcom Three's Company. He died just a few hours after feeling sick during a taping of his hit sitcom "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter." The cause of death was an aortic dissection caused by a previously undiagnosed congenital heart defect. He was one of my favorite comedic actors since childhood. John along with Phil are both greatly missed.

  • This show is truly a prime example of humor in the later twentith century. The dynamics, the sarcasm, the timing. Love it! Watching it after a decade, i can really see the influence this show had on my own sence of humor.

  • i miss john.

  • "Thanks, Bill. Get rid of your cubicle?"

    "Noooooo."

  • "He's great. He's absolutely great. He's like an enema for the brain."

    Now, that's psychotherapy.

  • sometimes Bill reminds me of American Dad's Roger... (without the gay and dirty stuff)

  • OOH SHIT!!! fine ass on the far right at 3:21

  • how did Joe Rogan go from this to Fear Factor host and then to UFC commentator?

    ga-dayum time flies

  • @elixxlogik

It's the 5th episode of season 2, which is the 12th episode overall

  • It took me at least 2-3 weeks before I could even watch a Three's Company rerun after John's sudden passening. It was almost like reliving Phil's murder all over again in some ways.

These two are missed by many. They were both without a doubt comedic geniuses.

  • Phil Hartman was at his best here, fuck his wife for murdering him.

    RIP Phil

  • lol classic
