WAVE-TV 1993: 11PM newscast clips

These 2 clips from a 1993 WAVE-TV 11PM newscast feature meteorologist John Belski and anchor Jim Mitchell. Included is part of a story on the inaugural flight of Southwest Airlines in Louisville. Note that the second clip is adjacent to the first and it makes it sound like they are congratulating the Southwest Airlines passengers but they are talking about some award winning children in a story at the end of the newscast that is not scene in this clip. (Just to avoid any confusion)

Did Jim Mitchell use to the anchor the 10:00  news on WDRB before his move to wave.

It seemed like he and Don Scrholder traded stations in 1992.

Jim Mitchell moved to WDRB when the News at 10 started. He originally was at WHAS back in the 80's and I believe he was only with WAVE for a short time form what I remember. Don came over to WDRB a little later I think.
