JAMES LAVELLE

Seminal DJ and force behind Mo' Wax Records, Lavelle was one of the first creatives to join the cultural dots between London, Tokyo and New York through his passion for music, street fashion and art. Inspired by hip hops cut'n'paste aesthetic he pioneered a DIY culture which provides the template and essential ingredients for much of what the street style scene accepts as the norm today. Now, with his focus fixed on UNKLE, Lavelle's style legacy includes the then unprecedented Nike shoe collaboration the DUNKLE.
