    i managed to grab attention form Harvard, they liked the design and

    liked the way i put it together from things around the yard.

  • I read your notes in the sidebar & totally understand the Wasting time and Money.

    I built a 9 ' by 6' vertical vawt and it used canvas as wind sails. I personally spent a week sewing them together.

    I live in Oklahoma in Tornado alley & on the top of a hill . The next evening a big storm came up and ripped it all apart :(

    I learned a lesson though:

    Keep an eye on the weather channel. In the event of serious winds. LOCK DOWN the unit.
