RAWdance's CONCEPT series, sampler

This video contains snippets from the first two years of RAWdance's CONCEPT series. The video was created as a promo reel for the CONCEPT series 7, which took place in September 2010, but it also highlights the range of pieces that the company has created for or adapted for the series.

RAWdance launched the biannual CONCEPT series, an informal and intimate salon of contemporary dance, in December 2007 at San Francisco's James Howell Studio. The series focuses on accessibility, showcasing works by some of the city's most talented professional dance artists in a casual environment complete with coffee, popcorn, and snacks. In addition to RAWdance's own works, the CONCEPT series has presented pieces by 30 guest artists and companies to date.
