i smell of garbbage.of rotten fish.of fecal....i think i suffer from TMAU.i tried a sever diet but did not work.tried activated charcoal...antibiotics....noth­ing worked....i suffer a lot and i do not know what to do.

Claire ,you are not alone,I also have that problem too ,people wouldn't tell me that I stink but they really give me a hint:-(,,just talking about it, I feel I am stinky now,My husband doesn't think I smell,, I guess because he is use too it now! but you know what I learn how too live with it,, and I well alway keep my head up and smile with a fish in my face,,LOL!!(-_X

I'm in highschool as well, and I suffer from the same condition. I have exams next week and I'm FREAKING OUT. I've had a nice break of the smell for a bit. Sometimes it's on and off. But it's coming back. Oh lord. Being a 17 year old is hard enough.

I suffer with this, and today i'm crying badly on the inside with the comments people made towards me in the lecture halls. Im in 2nd year at uni and everyone around me covered their noses, sat away from me and I can hear bad comments. This has made me wanna drop out of uni, thats how bad TMAU has on social life. Its gone.

@Afightsback Haha, That's awesome. I'm in high-school and I'm dealing with this. It really makes me smile when I read comments like yours. It makes me feel like I'm not alone (:
