I love this song.

The full title is "Le diabolique est l'ami du simplement mal", which mean "The diabolical is the friend of the simply bad(evil)".

"Le diabolique est l'ami du simple" only means "The diabolical is the friend of the simple"

They would name the song "Le diabolique est l'ami du mal", it would be more correct. But whatever...
