Japanese companies are as Ferrari and South Korean ones are as Lamborgini in the world of electronics. Japanese are the pioneers and koreans are the challenger. Just like Intel and AMD.Japan has more experience (VHS, CD-rom, walkman etc) but Korea is more agressive, more competitive and invested a lot for reaching Japan and they've achieved it in 2006. I prefer Samsung over Sony, LG, Sharp products.
They have more experience in my opinion and they are the first to introduce Super AMOLED Technology.
For example, Samsung phones are much more durable than Sony Ericsson Phones, my old Samsung Omnia lasted 2 years and it still works (But I have got the Samsung Wave cause it's new).
My mom has a Sony Ericsson Vivaz and it broke after just 2 months due to unknown reasons, she switched to a Samsung Omnia II instead and it worked perfectly for her.

100% agree with samsung. I was in tv shop and when i saw screen of samsung led tv and other tv I SAY: OMFG i never saw better fuking tv ever. I had now this series 7 , have internet in it and i think it is the best tv led in the world.
