Climate Change and Biodiversity: Shaye Wolf - Part 1

Michael Killens Asks Shaye Wolf, Director of Climate Science, Center for Biological Diversity, about the importance of Biodiversity. Shaye gives Michael the context to see how human activities are poking holes in the web of life. She explains how our carbon emissions are killing off species by causing the climate to change and the oceans to acidify. Shaye makes it clear about what needs to be done in order to return our atmosphere to safe levels of carbon dioxide and what the major tools are to make that happen. At the end of the show, Michael Killen reveals a poster "Climate Change for the Wealthy" that designed for the City of Palo Alto to give to its dignitary visitors.
