@Hunny9584 I wish.

@yeesnaw Somebody who is signed with EMI isn't exactly flying under the radar though.

They're called bootleg mixes, basically an illegal mix. What happened here is that Avicii has remixed Tiesto's song, who knows what rights Avicii has, maybe he just has permission to use it, maybe he had to pay for them or like you said give royalties.
The electro scene is a pretty big one with many DJ's going un-noticed, for those who are flying under the radar bootleg mixes are very common, so yes, maybe not with popular DJs but they all freely use each others tracks.
-
@yeesnaw I doubt they're all freely mixing each other's songs. If Tiesto creates a song that is unpopular and someone remixes it into a smash hit, Tiesto's label will want royalties and law suits would start flying. I'm sure the labels all work out deals with each other to remix songs.

@yeesnaw wow that is very interesting. friendly community lol

Actually, that is too true my friend, I just came from tiesto's Escape me because i thought the singing just ruined the track so i come here, i find an artist (Avicii which i already know) and listen to his music aswell, tiesto would do the same, basically, they swap their tracks with each other and along with their music they share their fanbase with each other

@achung2526 Of course, it's how the song gets popular.

can someone explain to me why another artist (Kaskade) can play another artist's (avicii) song which is actually a remix of a third artist( tiesto) ?
So big named dj's are comforable sharing each other's music?
Best mix of this track so far. Kaskade threw down some sick beats at the 2010 Electric Daisy Carnival.
