I'm very fortunate my family lived in so many wonderful places as we were growing up. Recently I challenged myself to find pictures of the many homes and apartments we occupied over the years taken from Google Earth, Panaramio and the Internet and mix them with family photos to weave together this brief "virtual visual history" of places we lived. Why did we move so many times? I think it was driven by my parents work changing over time, and my mothers aesthetic drive to find pleasing environments. One lesson learned from looking back via this project was that no matter where we found ourselves, we managed to live in picturesque places where people like to have weddings: Marblehead, Jackson, Toronto, Smokerise, Palm Beach... not a bad real estate strategy now that I think about it!
