@21Boldschoolengineer My memory is a little faint because I haven't been in Iraq in 5 years; but, the type of IED may have had a better reason as to why he walked away and the buffalo may have been damaged. I believe they were called EFP IEDs but I may be wrong. Again, it's been years and I'm a lazy ass civilian now.

I dont know why they even needed to check the buffalo, that ied was on the other side of the road and approx. 12-14 ft. from it, unless a tire got popped (which still isnt a problem) the buffalo is a beast, and more comfortable than an RG31 :)

Just in case: The Bradley was screening the damaged vehicle using a tactic called wall of steel. This would allow for injuries and damage to be assessed and wounded people to be cross loaded into another vehicle using the cover of the Bradley. BOOM you just got schooled.

Damn it totally looked like he lifted his hand and activated something that was planted in the road. He got out of there pretty quickly too for someone who was supposed to appear as an innocent bystander
