I was so lucky to see him live at the "Metropol", Vienna playing on St. Patrick´s Day. One year later he should have appeared again, but the woman who accompanied him then told us he passed away some weeks before. So sad!!!

I feel very aggrieved! A few days ago I heard Christy Moore mention Hamish, looked him up wow, I feel so silly! What a singer he was, and a man he seems to be just an amazing human being! Been listening to his songs non stop since.
