The only reason why religion would be growing is because the population is growing combined with bad education. Get people educated and it will most defenitly drop, most people that are religious know very little about religion, and about science, and has probably never faced the criticism or seen any debates on the subject. Basically, its easy to believe when you know nothing else, and if everyone around you believe too, its even easier.

Religion is dying in the West. Unfortunately, crazy Western crusaders are shamelessly buying faiths from the dispossessed & the ignorant in poor & unstable areas of Asia. Some newly recruited flocks still don't know that world is round despite the digital boom that allow billions to view videos about philosophy, palaeontology & astronomy. One such lamb recruited 50 years ago has been living in France for more than 30 years. She doesn't believe that dinosaurs once walked on the earth! Tragedy!

Anyone who thinks religion is growing should just choose any random video on youtube where religion is the subject, and see the popular response. People don't like it.
I don't like it. I was raised more or less secularly, and I used to not think religion mattered one way or the other, but now I think it is bad because it inhibits the fundamentals of critical thought.
