more video of trains passing through folkston on the afternoon of 3-10-07. first up a northbound coal drag stops at martin street for a meet. Soon southbound pig train CSX Q121 flys by with a CSX SD70MAC 4795 leading two C40-8Ws. next a soutbound coal train roars by off the Nahunta sub at speed with two SD70MAC's. after the meet the northbound coal accelerates out of town with AC44 #100 leading a AC6000
You just can't beat Folkston for the best train videos.

I love the shreaking horns on the SD70macs! I saw a train led by a new SD70AC one night in Folkston that was the loudest i've even heard. I have not seen an AC leading a train since:(

Most crossing bells stay on for the duration of the train. Like you said, when the bars go down til they go back up. But some of the new crossings, with the electronic bell do shut off when the gates are down. Mostly on light rail, but some freight

What type of camcorder do you use?

American crossing bells stop once the gates are down? Strange, ours in Canada start before the train comes and shut off after the bars go up

They did, but have since re-routed them back to 6000s.... except 699 which had a cracked engine of some sort.
