listen to Ozric Tentacles on the youtube. They are a psychedelic prog rock band similar to Hawkwind and melting Euphoria. I also want to recommend to you Michael Tsarion. He is a conspiracy lecturer/researcher/author of best quality.

Broken Rhythms from the album of the same name.
that whole suite of albums fro African Fantasy to Broken Rhythms is some of the best "fusion", world, whatever you wanna call it. You can also go back to the Crazy Saints days and Bad Habits Are Hard to Break - another great album.
