I agree with you whoo689, I am also a conservative and believe that most Americans actually uphold conservative beliefs although liberalism "seems" to be the dominant idea because most of the media promotes liberalism ideals and the young voters are easily pulled into liberalism thanks to not only the majority of the media, but celebrities, music, and many other factors. But conservatism definitely is not a movement any longer.

I'm an economic conservative, although more of a libertarian really. However, I don't much approve of you guys playing the victim by still referring to it as a movement or letting tv anchors call it that. A movement is something that's just begun and isn't even close to getting into the mainstream. Conservative IS mainstream. Maybe it's not mainstream in the press, but who cares about those morons? They're all a bunch of self-righteous hacks and know-it-alls. It's not 1964.

Can we PLEASE stop referring to it as a "movement" still? You guys have been doing this whole 'conservative movement' thing for over 40 years! The Right has been quite successful in that time. Right-wingers had the majority for 12 years since the mid-90s. They got 3 conservative presidents in a 20-year period elected. They dominate talk radio. You've got outlets like Fox News. I think it really diminishes how much power you've acquired to keep referring to it as a "movement".
