  • Mom may come back with a fish and attempt to feed this strange one. LOL

  • @KMelKang Or kick it out. I'm looking forward to their reaction to the disturbance on the nest. It was windy in Decorah today so they will have plenty of building material. With the higher cam angle I'm hoping we will be able to see them fly in. Thank youLMelKang!

  • Wow, the new cam which is streaming ustream is just fabulous. Clear as a bell, no more poop, just amazing. They left a squirrel in the nest for a gift, I guess, for messing up their nest, which they really did! Hi Mick

  • @lucycatism Hi Janice. You are right. I dimly remember reading last year that they always leave an "offering" when they occupy the nest to adjust the cam. The cam was moved higher too- out of PS range. Thanks Janice!

  • I also worried about the disturbance in the nest-but remember all the times the raccoon came in and messed everything up . he even knocked the walls over and the present he left....no one would want. So we just have to hope they will be back soon. It's so windy they may be soaring in the thermals without a thought of their nest.

  • @carewolf101 Report from RRP on RRP USTREAM chat this morning, "The female is nearby. We also saw them during install, although they were not in nest when we got there. We can't pan to them because the tree is behind the limb that the camera is mounted on." Thank you carewolf :)

  • @LHeminway I don't know what they remember but I'm sure they will not be satisfied until more branches are brought in. I love how Dad rearranges her sticks after she leaves. Thanks for the comment and for watching the video LHeminway!

  • Now that this "man" has been there, would love to see the first visit back to see if they take note of disturbance. Are they that good at remembering what was where? I'll bed Dad looks accusingly at Mom as he seems to audit her movement and addition of various sticks. : )

  • It's 2:34 AM here in CA and there seems to be a 'visitor' in the nest. A very quiet one.

I wonder if it'll be there later.

  • @989razzle Ah, so they were not upset... Good to know. Ha! Dad's gonna be busy tomorrow.
