  • RIP Harry Kalas.I grew up with you thru NFL Films. One of the greatest and most revered voices ever in sports!

  • very nice tribute Alex. RIP Harry.

  • Another one of the great voices of baseball has been silenced, but the legacy will always live on......Rest in Peace Harry......& my sympathies to all Phillies Fans and all true baseball fans!!!

  • my sympathies to you Alex and the rest of all the Phillies fans out there.

We're quickly losing an entire generation of sports broadcasters who helped make the games what they are today. I close my eyes and imagine a Tigers game and first thing I think of is not the sounds of the game, but the voice of Mr. Harwell.

Another great one has passed and he will be missed by more than just Philadelphia.
