Spoilers up til Crossroad Blues.
Centers around Crossroad Blues and Dean wanting to bring his father back.
The song is actually about a woman losing her husband (so excuse the 'she's lol). She wants him to live again and for things to be the way they were, but at the end of the song she realizes that he would want her to go on and live her life, so it's him singing to her. I immediately drew parallels between the song and Crossroad Blues because Dean wants to bring his father back and then at the end Sam tells him that they need to keeep going. Also, John died because he wanted Dean to live.
