  • @MrRousseaurobin There's nothing to understand. baracine has to understand.

  • @baracine, "Rivette is a non-entity, Truffaut is mediocre"... could you explain this? I don't understand...

  • I have no rage against Varda, Rohmer and Chabrol. They are great creators. Only Godard is contemptible. Truffaut is mediocre and Rivette is a non-entity.

  • ever wonder why you have all this rage about Godard, Truffaut, Rivette, Rohmer, Varda, Chabrol, ESPECIALLY Godard?

Your rage overwhelms any argument you offer.

  • And considering half the subtitles are missing, his nonsense is particularly nonsensical. Do you have to be French-speaking like me to understand this is complete bullshit?

  • If "wandering off subject and talking nonsense" was a crime, you wouldn't be watching this. Obviously.

  • Initially I thought him a film lover with an opinion he was entitled to however wrong

I thought it to be and tried to reason with him.

However in his third comment baracine started to wonder off the subject and really talking nonsense.....

  • How can you "respect the view" of such a poorly informed, aggressive numb-brain who is dead to this obviously brillaint, moving, wise film?

  • it is supposed to be unorganized, its a critique of 20th century cinema culture in my opinion.

  • You should spend a little more time and effort caring about the airplane, the fuel cost, the pollution damage and the destination. Godard is despised by the French who have just started to realize that the so-called "New Wave" (as explained by Godard and Truffaut) was a sham and that they almost destroyed their real and precious (pre-Godard) filmic heritage while those idiots ran the show. Don't ever forget that.
