Ideal for either studio or gospel, the Evans Onyx Drumhead is a variation on the original hydraulic drumhead and is designed to provide a very dry-controlled sound.

  • @JeffreyDrumpants Yeah man, it's a popular auxiliary size, usually 5-6 inches deep, for hip-hop/drum n bass players. Sometimes referred to as a popcorn snare.

  • @mrboverbro i have an onyx on my 14" main snare and it is thick and sounds like a muted remo emperor. It gives minimal overtones. It has lasted for about 5 months now...
